December is here and I couldn’t be happier! I love this time of year, the cozy sweaters, hot drinks and holiday decor, it’s magical! I know Black Friday just came and past (trust me I made a dent in my wallet), but they’re still a TON of sales on! If you’re looking for some inspiration, I’ve put together 2o of my favourite winter outfits I’ve styled so far this year! Hopefully they’ll give you some ideas for your wardrobe this season!
In addition, if you’re planning a winter ski holiday don’t forget to make sure you carry the right ski wear! Skiing is a pass time I love doing once the weather gets colder but it’s important you bundle up!
1. Winter Suede Skirt
I must say, this is one of my favourite skirts I own! It comes in this grey color, pink and beige. It’s SO flattering due to the pleats and is really comfortable! I don’t tend to wear skirts or dresses that often in the winter since it gets pretty cold in Canada. However, on the odd chance I do, I like to pair them with over the knee boots! They add a lot of extra warmth and make your look more casual!
I paired the skirt with my favorite white turtleneck. Guys – this is a staple in my closet. I highly recommend everyone purchase a white turtleneck for winter. They go with SO many things, skirts, blue, white and black jeans etc. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve grabbed for this sweater!

2. Perfect In Pink
Pink makes a comeback for me this time of year. Usually I style pink in the spring, however recently I’ve been loving pastels in winter! This particular striped sweater does not disappoint! I love all of the different tons, it makes it really unique! To add to the look, I wore my favorite pom pom beanie! These are so fun in the winter!
On a side note – what’s your favorite Starbucks drink? I’m drinking a peppermint mocha in this picture – they’re so addicting!!

3. Time To Sparkle!
With NYE right around the corner, it’s time to shop for the perfect outfit! If you’re anything like me, I love sequins. They’re outrageous, fun and SO unique. This sequin dress is one of my all time favorites. Even though there are so many colors going on, it still looks super classy! Surprisingly, with all of these sequins in the dress, it isn’t overly heavy which is another bonus!

4. Pom Pom Sweater!
Am I the only one obsessed with pom poms right now!? I just love how festive they are so I couldn’t summarize 20 winter outfits without them! From the pom pom sweaters, beanies and accessories there are so many products on the market right now! This sweater from Nordstrom is one of my favorites. The Pom Poms are subtle which I like and the material is super soft and cozy!

5. Winter Mini Skirt
This is one of my favorite looks so far this year. I know I said above that I don’t usually wear skirts or dresses in the cold weather however I had to make an exception for this one! This mini skirt screams winter, I love the copper detailing in the buttons and pockets!
I paired the skirt with the same sweater I mentioned in the first look (I told you I get a lot of wear out of it!) along with these black over the knee boots! These boots come in black, rust and grey. They are SO stylish, they haven’t stretched out at all even after wearing them all fall!

6. Pastel Stripes
If you haven’t noticed, stripes have been EVERYWHERE this year! I’ve definitely hopped on this trend in full force. I’ve always been a huge fan of stripes no matter what the season! To make this look a little more wintery, I paired it with my favourite pink pom pom beanie! See below for my favourite striped sweaters!

7. The Plaid Sherpa
What happens when you mix a great winter pattern with a cozy sweater? A plaid Sherpa! Sherpa’s are one of my favorite sweaters for the winter, they’re just so cozy. I feel like I only ever see plaid in dark colors during this time of year, so when I saw this neutral one I fell in LOVE! I paired the sweater with rust over the knee boots. If you’re someone who only wears orange/rust colors in the fall, I urge you to bring them through winter! It’s such a great color that deserves to be extended over 2 seasons!

9. The Perfect Neutrals
Neutrals, Neutrals, Neutrals!
There’s something so stylish about a completely neutral look. If you’re someone who doesn’t like to wear white during the winter season I dare you to give it a try! Especially white jeans! One of my favourite combos is my white jeans and grey OTK boots! It’s a classic color pairing that looks super clean. This has also got to be one of the softest sweaters I own this season!

10. Pom Pom Hearts
I’m sure you guys have seen this sweater everywhere, or a similar version of it! I even own a brown one (click her to see!). Guys, the hype is real, this sweater is SO soft and cozy. They’re popular for a reason, trust me! The turtleneck version adds extra coverage, which I really appreciate during the winter! 11. The Perfect Accessory
My favourite winter accessory is a scarf! It’s both practical and stylish – how can it get any better than that! I have quite the collection of scarves that I’ve accumulated over the years. They really add a unique touch to a basic outfit! The one I’m modelling above is reversible (see the other side of it in look number 18) which is awesome! It easily gives you two completely different looks. I’ve linked some of my favourite scarves below!

12. Glorious Greens
I don’t own that many green sweaters, which is why I’ve been wearing this one non-stop! This style of sweater comes in a couple different colours but green’s my favourite! It’s one size fits all however I would say it’s a size small – medium! It has such a good fit and it’s really soft to the touch! I love pairing the green with this orangy rust color! They pair really well! You could also pair the sweater with black or if your feeling really adventurous red!

13. Coat Season!
It’s coat season! I’m not going to lie, shopping for coats isn’t exactly my favorite thing, however in Canada it’s totally necessary! The one I’m wearing above is super light weight and better suited for a warmer climate! With that said however, I layered it with a cozy sweater and a knit scarf and it worked perfectly! During the deep winter I wear a Canada Goose Jacket to give some extra warmth!

14. Popping Pink!
How do you make a sweater cuter? Add a pink stripe to it! In all seriousness though, I love this sweater. It’s an amazing price and it’s a super cozy knit! I own a lot of sweaters, but I always seem to get compliments on this one! It’s also work friendly if you have a more casual office!

15. Cozy Casual
Cozy Casual wear for the win! If I could live in this all day, everyday I would! This sweater is the softest I own – no exaggeration! I also love the light blue color! I wore this outfit on Black Friday and it was the perfect look to shop in! The comfier the better is my motto!

16. Mellow Yellow
I know what you’re thinking, mustard isn’t something you’d wear in the winter. I’m here to show you how! I think its such a shame that this color is completely overlooked during the season! I find this top also has a festive flare with the bow around the front! Pair this color with dark blue, it’s really complimentary and makes the yellow pop! This is one of my favourite winter outfits that you shouldn’t pass up!

17. Festive PJs
With winter in full swing it’s important to have a good pair of PJs! This festive pair does NOT disappoint. I’m not going to lie, I spend a lot of time in cozy wear. If I had to choose between dressing up and dressing down I would take down in a heartbeat! There’s something so relaxing about getting cozy sitting by a fire and reading a good book! If you’re looking for a pair to snuggle up in I highly recommend this set!

18. The Perfect Scarf
If you didn’t notice, this is the exact same look as number 11 however the scarf is reversed. By changing up the scarf you get a completely different winter look! Two winter outfits in one – what’s better than that!? Scarves are my favourite winter accessory for this reason. They can make an outfit look so different depending on the style!

19. Stripes on Stripes
You may recognize this sweater since it’s been everywhere in the blogging world lately! For good reason, since it’s super cute! By now I’m sure you know I love stripes, so naturally I had to get this one as well! I paired it with my favourite jeans – these have also lasted me two years (still love them) and rust booties. I’ve brought these booties into winter, since they add some color to neutral looks!

20. Holiday Warp Dress
Lastly, I wanted to share one final festive look for you guys! This has been one of my favourite holiday looks for two years straight! I absolutely love the satin shine and the ruffles!
