Today I’m doing something a little different on the blog. LA VITA GLAM has sent me some of their Hair Slinky’s to try out and review!
The Claim:
I’ve been seeing these plastic hair slinky’s everywhere lately! What they promise to do is ensure NO SLIPS, NO DENTS and NO TANGLES in your hair during and after wear! They’ve been so popular the past year, so I wanted to give them a try for myself to see if all the claims are true!
My Hair:
I have really fine, colour treated hair and whenever I put a hair elastic in I always get a kink. I typically have a lot of trouble removing the hair tie’s as well. My hair always gets caught and tangled in the elastic. To see if these hair elastics really work, I decided to take a picture of my hair before and after the elastic.

Review:
Dents: As you can see, I unfortunately have a dent! It’s not as prominent as a normal hair tie would leave, however it’s still there.
Slip: I have to say I had no slip at all with these hair ties, they kept my hair secure for the 2 hours of wear
Tangles: I also have no tangles after wearing the hair tie, it pulled a little when coming out but left my hair smooth once removed.
Accessory: They actually make for a really cute accessory on your wrist as an added bonus!
Overall Rating: 8/10
Everyone’s hair is different, again this is my experience with the hair ties, yours might be different! Overall I think it’s a good product since they definitely work better than normal ties! Also for $12 you can’t go wrong!
