Happy Holidays everyone! I cannot believe it’s already December 21st! Where has this year gone!?
This is by far my favourite time of year. I can finally wear all of my cute holiday outfits! This year, to prepare for all of my holiday parties I shopped on YOOX! YOOX is an Italian online fashion retailer that sells a wide variety of luxury fashion, design and art! They have everything from clothing to vases! I was able to find this entire party look on the website! I don’t know about you, but I love shopping online! I always have so much going on, so I love the convenience of it.
THE DRESS
When shopping for this look I had a specific holiday party in mind. I wanted to find a fun and flirty look with some holiday flare! When I saw this sequin shift dress I instantly fell in love. Sequins are one of my favourite fabrics to style during this time of year, they’re just so fun! I especially love how the light catches this dress and adds a little sparkle! When shopping, I was specifically looking for a t-shirt style dress as it’s more causal. Sequins are such a statement and I wanted to tone down the look!
This particular dress is quite short. I’m 5’5 and it was just long enough, therefore if your taller, I would opt for a longer version. However, if you’re shorter this would be perfect for you! This dress could also easily be paired with black faux leather leggings! Leather leggings are a great option to make this dress look more casual!
THE HEELS
I’m going to be honest, I usually have a hard time with heels! If they’re too high I can’t walk in them…it’s pretty embarrassing! With that said, I cannot recommend these shoes enough. They’re the perfect height, I don’t have any trouble walking in them at all. They’re prefect for a holiday party! Also, can we talk about the red suede!! Suede is another favourite fabric of mine during the winter and the red is gorgeous. Due to the height of these shoes, they can also be worn to the office which is awesome. I love finding versatile pieces that I can wear everywhere!
THE BAG
Finally I need to talk about this purse. You guys I’m in LOVE! It’s VERY similar to GUCCI however it’s only $112!! YES you read that right. It’s an amazing dupe. I think there’s a fine line with dupe bags. I’m okay with dupes as long as they don’t have the designer logo on them. If they have a logo that’s just a rip off to the designer, which I think is unethical. Since all this one has is a similar clasp I’m all for it!!
This bag can easily be worn to a holiday party because it’s not over the top. It’s also a great addition to your closet, the grey is so neutral so it can be worn all year around!
