Raving Over Red!

With Christmas just around the corner, it’s time to pull out all the cozy things!  We had our first snowfall last weekend, and Chris and I put up our Christmas tree!  It’s starting to look quite festive around here!  Today I wanted to talk about one of my favourite color’s right now; red.  With the holidays, red seems to be everywhere!  It’s such a fun color to style and really pops this time of year!

I know red is not for everyone, but you should give it a chance!  Here are 4 different looks to give you some inspiration this season!

Chic Wish

The first two red looks I’m sharing feature sweaters from Chicwish!  Chicwish is one of my favourite retailers!  The quality of their clothing is always fantastic and they have super cute, feminine styles!

First up is this cute pom pom cardigan from Chicwish! It comes in so many colours but of course my favourite is red!  This cardi is so cute for the holidays!  For this look, I paired it with my black lace cami.  I shot this while it was still somewhat warm out, so I styled the cardi with my leopard mules.  Now that it’s chilly, I’d go with OTK black boots!

Red Stripes

Another favourite look of mine is this striped sweater!  It’s from chicwish as well and it’s perfect for the cooler seasons!  I mainly wore this during the fall however since it’s made of a thicker material it can easily be transitioned into winter!

The Red Dress

This is one of my all time favourite dresses!  I purchased it last year and still always grab for it!  The ruching on the sides creates a really flattering silhouette! This type of style would work on a lot of different body types!

If you’ve been following me on IG you know I’m obsessed with ripped hem sweaters!  This one is one of my faves. I love how vibrant the color is.  This can easily be thrown under a cardigan if you need more coverage!
