NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE NEW SHOPPING TIME THIS YEAR!
One of the best sales of the year is almost upon us! Given that many of these items never go on sale, The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is always one to watch! In past years, the sale would go live at midnight (which was both exciting and horrible). This year that has changed! Early Access is now going live on July 12 at 12:30 pm EST (Mid-Day) which is a HUGE improvement.
WHY YOU WANT TO SHOP EARLY ACCESS
Please note – last year, many items sold out on the first day early access went live. Those items were NOT RESTOCKED when public access hit. It was unfair but it was what it was. No one has any idea if this will occur again (my guess is it likely will). If you would like early access all you have to do is apply to get the free Nordstrom credit card. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. There have been so many times that I’ve shopped sales were I’ve purchased crazy statement pieces that I only wear once then wonder why I ever purchased them. Go for items you will wear more than once or twice.

CAPSULE WARDROBE
A capsule wardrobe is something that you can wear all year around. This is what I’m aiming for this time around, I want to go for pieces that I can wear in the fall, winter, and spring.

BUY NOW RETURN LATER
Buy now return later. Why I say this is because I’ve made the mistake of NOT doing this in the past. Things sell out so quickly during this sale, especially popular sizes. So, if you think you want something, buy it, and then if you change your mind return it! Nordstrom had a great return policy.

BUDGET BUDGET BUDGET
Guys, create a budget for yourself and stick to it! Seriously, once you start shopping the sale it’s so easy to get carried away (I’m talking from experience) so go in with a number you’re going to spend and don’t go over it.

SCOPE OUT ITEMS BEFOREHAND
Before I go into Nordstrom or shop online I scope out items I want. Trust me, this saves SO much time. In-store can be very overwhelming and items online can sell out super quick so it’s easier to pre-plan what items you want to purchase to make your shopping experience seamless!

INVESTMENT PIECES
If you’ve had your eye on a more pricer item from Nordstrom, this it the time to get it! There will be some amazing purses, jewelry, and sunglasses all up to 50% which is huge! If you’ve wanted to get these pieces now is the time!
